Digital World, a first of its kind technology event in Bangladesh, was inaugurated by Begum Motia Chowdhury, Honorable Minister, Ministry for Agriculture and Sajeeb Wajed Joy on 6th December 2012 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), Dhaka, Bangladesh. ‘aamra’ has created a 100 Mbps wireless internet zone for the 3 day event for all local and international delegates at the venue.
Digital World is a place to showcase Bangladesh’s achievements to learn from its global peers and provide a forum for free-flow of ideas and concepts. This enriches current thoughts on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for development.
